Hi book lovers, I am back again with another STEM baddie book recommendation. This week I am reviewing Ten Trends to Seduce your Best Friend by Penny Reid. This novel is a misunderstood enemies to lovers and fake best-friend romantic comedy. It is chaotic, hilarious, and should be your next romance read!Continue reading “Ten Trends to seduce your best friend is a stem romance classic!”
Hello Readers! Latinx/e heritage month is upon us! And while I have many great recommendations from years past, I’ve also had the pleasure of reading some newly released romance novels with Latina authors this year. And the one I want to highlight first is Yamile Saied Méndez Twice a Quinceañera.
Twice a Quinceañera is a contemporary romance novel featuring the ultimate revenge and self-love journey. Told through dual pov of both Nadia and Marcus, this story is a great weekend read.Continue reading “Twice a Quinceañera is a perfect love letter to your thirties”
The Love Hypothesis was all over my insta feed, youtube, and even my friends were sending me Tik toks praising this book. Fake-dating, tall and small, grumpy and sunshine pair, it has everything I love in the book. But I had to wait a few months to get the book from my public library.
The Love Hypothesis is Ali Hazelwood’s debut novel, and it features fake dating, a STEM academic setting, chaotic besties, a demisexual protagonist, and lots of PSL runs.Continue reading “The Love Hypothesis”
I love the Brown sister’s series so much I almost did not want to finish this series. However, after having a rough June I knew I needed a comedic and comforting rom com to read.

Is what Mr. Ethan Winston of Historically Inaccurate would say!
Hi readers! Remember last week when I shared some of my favorite quotes from Historically Inaccurate? Well today I’m sharing my review for the novel. I received an advanced readers copy of Historically Inaccurate in exchange for my honest review thanks to the team at Colored Pages Blog Tours.
Historically Inaccurate is a new adult story by debut author Shay Bravo. Historically Inaccurate was originally on Wattpad but is now going to be published for the masses. This novel features diverse characters, a Black love interest, College clownery, and finding yourself.Continue reading “Keep an eye on Historically inaccurate”
Midnight Sun was a dreadful read, but Bet me yanked me right out of my feelings and into a world of bets, Elvis, chicken marsala, Krispy Kreme, and love stories. This enemies to somewhat friends to lovers story will keep you guessing and make you fall in love with all the characters. It might be the best book I read this year. Keep reading if you want to hear what I thought about this romantic contemporary.Continue reading “Bet Me by Jennifer Cruise cleansed my book slump”
It’s been a while since my last post and safe to say the quarantine stress finally got to me. To combat it, I threw myself into sewing and watching animal crossing streams. That was great and all, but I was not able to focus on reading nor creating content for this blog.
I’m feeling much better now, and I hope to be able to get some bookish crafts up soon. For now, though, here is a book review for Beautiful Bastard.
Beautiful Bastard is one of the first books best writing friends Christina and Lauren published together. The first draft of Beautiful Bastard was a twilight inspired fanfiction written by Christina. Although readers won’t be able to tell while reading Beautiful Bastard. To read more about the origins of Christina Lauren, check out this interview.Continue reading “Beautiful Bastard was not what I was expecting”
I don’t always read YA novels, and when I’m not reading them, you can bet I’m reading a contemporary romance! The Swedish Prince piqued my interest because it’s marketed as a Roman Holiday retelling.
However, The Swedish Prince promises a Happy Ever After.Continue reading “The Plot to the Swedish Prince is ridiculous but addicting!”
