This novel is Eberle’s debut, and the book flirts with multiple genres, there is a bit of romance, action, thriller, mystery and a whole lot of comedy.

April Asher has penned lots of romance novels but never paranormal romance until her Supernatural Singles series. The Supernatural singles series follows the Maxwell sisters, who are witches, as they navigate love and their world of paranormal beings and politics. Not your Ex’s Hexes is the second novel in this series following a witch and a half demon as they fall in love.

Hello Readers! Latinx/e heritage month is upon us! And while I have many great recommendations from years past, I’ve also had the pleasure of reading some newly released romance novels with Latina authors this year. And the one I want to highlight first is Yamile Saied Méndez Twice a Quinceañera.
Twice a Quinceañera is a contemporary romance novel featuring the ultimate revenge and self-love journey. Told through dual pov of both Nadia and Marcus, this story is a great weekend read.

A Ruin of Roses by K.F. Breene is another beauty and the beast retelling but what sets this series apart from other retellings is the erotic, hilarious, and romantic setting of this world. Plus, the heroine Finley does not hesitate to step on a few toes especially if they belong to the arrogantly handsome Nyfain.

Hello readers! I am finally back with another book review. For this week’s review, I’m jumping away from the spicy crazy romance of Beautiful Bastard to the spicy space adventure that is Chilling Effect by Valerie Valdes.
As mentioned before, this novel is on the spicy side, and that includes lots of bilingual swearing and implied sex scenes. So keep that in mind if you’re planning to gift this to a younger reader.
